THE HOUSE OF CANNABIS
Brand strategy | Logo & Brand identity system | Brand Style Guide
The House of Cannabis (THC) Trade Show is a premier upscale trade show experience where buyers and sellers of cannabis converge in order to do business. The House of Cannabis is not open to the general public.
The House of Cannabis Trade Show brand stands for Anti-greed in the cannabis industry, and they want to create a high scale event at the correct price point for the buyers and exhibitors.
Because the name of the brand already uses the word “ cannabis ” they didn’t want to double the meaning by adding a marijuana leaf in the logo.

To portray both the luxury look and the client oriented ethical price point, we went for a monogram type logo, using the acronym THC. The upscale, sophisticated, and cool vibe is supported by the gold / dark green color palette, while the sociability is reinforced by the soft round edges of the chosen typeface.
To start the project, we conducted a discovery session to extract and refine the brand’s attributes and the customer persona.
Next, we need to visually bridge the gap between the information gathered in the discovery session and the actual design phase. That is when Stylescapes come in handy.
A Stylescape is a panoramic view of the entire visual design system for a brand. It is a carefully curated collection of images, textures, typography, and colors to communicate a certain look and feel of a brand.

The final phase is where all the magic happens. We polish the final visual direction for the brand, begin the logo exploration and sketches, choose the typeface, color palette, patterns, icons, photography style, and build the entire brand identity system. All this information is gathered in a Brand Style Guide. It will communicate your business's design standards, both internally and to your partners, media, and other collaborators.
